Overcoming The Systemic Challenges Of Wealth Inequality In The U.S., David Peter Stroh

The galvanizing public murder of George Floyd and the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Black and Hispanic people have put structural racism and its influence on wealth inequality in the U.S. into stark relief. As multiracial groups express outrage at these visible disparities, we risk missing the other side of the coin: that wealth inequality in turn fans structural racism. Moreover, as they reinforce each other, these two factors erode the social, economic, and political viability of our democracy. Understanding and then breaking this vicious cycle are essential to realizing our renewed commitment to a country that works everyone.

This study aimed to identify the impact of management information systems on the organizational learning in the Jordanian commercial banks. To achieve this goal, the study was conducted on all commercial banks in Jordan (N=13), from which suitable random sample of workers in public administration were chosen, (365) questionnaires were distributed and (301) were returned. The study found a statistically significant effect of the components of management information systems on organizational learning with its three levels in the Jordanian commercial banks. Research has shown that hiring R&D scientists from competitors fosters organizational learning. We examine whether hiring scientists who have many collaborative ties with the hiring firm prior to the mobility event produces different learning outcomes than hiring scientists who have few or no such ties. We theorize that prior ties reduce explorative learning and increase exploitative learning. Namely, we posit that prior ties lead the hiring firm to focus on that part of a new hire’s knowledge with which they are already familiar and that they help appropriate the new hire’s newly generated knowledge. This study was an investigation of innovative practices based upon organizational learning and the life cycle in Catholic elementary and high schools. Limited research exists in the role that these factors play in Catholic school sustainability. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of organizational learning, as measured by the Organizational Learning Scale, and life cycle, as measured by Organizational Life Cycle 5-Scale on organizational innovation, as measured by the Organizational Innovation Scale.
