We uncover a novel stock return predictor from the options market, the volume-weighted strike-spot price ratio (VWKS) across all traded option contracts. High (low) VWKS indicates that the mass of options volume on an underlying stock centers at the out-of-the-money region of call (put) options. Empirically, VWKS has positive and robust predictive ability for underlying returns after controlling for a long list of variables including known return predictors from the options market, stock illiquidity, and past stock returns, and has more persistent and stronger predictive power for stocks with higher information asymmetry and arbitrage costs. How do multinational corporations (MNCs) and domestic firms compensate technical and managerial skills of knowledge workers within and across geographies? This paper answers this question by examining how developed economy MNCs and emerging economy firms value MBA education and firm-specific IT experience of IT professionals in India; and how developed economy MNCs value MBA education and firm-specific IT experience differently across India and the U.S. Our analyses of archival data on more than 20,000 IT professionals reveal two important findings. Understanding The Intention To Trust Product Information And Certifications To Promote Sustainable Consumption: Applying The Theory Of Planned Behavior, Djoko Sayogo, Jing Zhang, Sergio Picazo-Vela, Babak Bahaddin, Luis Luna-Reyes

This paper explores consumers trust in sustainable product and certification information included in the product’s package and label by using Azjen’s theory of planned behavior as a framework. We used 327 observations collected from an international survey distributed to students in the U.S., Mexico and Indonesia as proxy of consumers’ view. Our results demonstrate that the consumer’s general predisposition toward trust, social normative pressure, and the presence of factors that facilitate consumer’s perceptions to perform trust behavior significantly increase the consumer’s intention to trust sustainable product and certification information.
