This mixed methods research (MMR) addressed management's failure to give high-quality hospice care in healthcare facilities within the United States. Failure to provide high-quality care leads to issues with quality control and customer satisfaction. The researcher used an MMR design to perform a systematic survey of 96 participants in select U.S.-based hospice services management facilities. The medical records from the Research Institution organization were used to choose the participants. The total population was 1,300 from which 96 participants were randomly chosen. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 caused a global shutdown that immediately stopped all revenue of hosting sporting events for sports leagues. This resulted in a financial struggle for these leagues and organizations that they had to work to overcome. Using public access to financial statements and records, this report examines the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sports leagues and organizations and how they were able to recover in the years following the pandemic.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the central and local finance, in accordance with the requirements of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, gave full play to their functions, and introduced a series of policies and measures to support scientific and technological innovation, which has effectively promoted the development of science and technology in China. The article reviews the basic situation of financial support for scientific and technological innovation in the past ten years from nine aspects, and looks forward to the future development and reform of financial science and technology.

Purpose: With the help of the newly developed Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) index, this paper attempts to find the influence if any, of the EPU on stock markets and certain key economic indicators in India. Methodology /Approach: The focus is on the influence of EPU on the stock markets, industrial production, new capital issues, exports and bank credit to commercial sector. Monthly data of economic indicators is collected for 66 months from January 2014 and tested with OLS and Quantile regression. This paper shows that access to payday lending affects societal health outcomes such as opioid-related mortality. I find that states allowing payday lending experience 1.5 lives lost per 100,000 population every year, which amounts to one-third of its mean value. I interpret this result in line with the increased consumption of opioid pills after accessing to payday lending. Accordingly, the effects are more pronounced in areas with low socioeconomic status. Confounding events, time trends, or systematic differences between states allowing and prohibiting payday lending are unlikely to explain the association between payday lending access and opioid mortality. Financial performance is a challenge for business managers in the e-commerce industry that lack the knowledge to meet their operational objectives consistently. Business managers are concerned with poor financial performance due to the adverse impact on business sustainability. Grounded in total quality management theory, the purpose of this quantitative correlational study was to examine the relationship between working capital management (WCM), operating expense ratio (OER), and e-commerce financial performance. This study involved exploration of the acceptance of proposed commercial wind farm construction in rural township areas in the Thumb area of Michigan. The primary objective of the study was to conduct an exploratory analysis to gain an understanding of how residents perceive proposed wind farms in their own communities. This qualitative case study investigated how the most common inventory errors in a manual manufacturing environment impacted the financial health of the business. All classes of inventory are an equally important asset and are accounted for as money on every business’s balance sheet. Country-level factors play an important role in the success or failure of cross-border acquisitions (i.e., acquisitions where the acquiring and target firms are in two different countries). If we are to understand and improve the success rates of these acquisitions, we must explore this issue in more depth. For college undergraduates, the thought of managing money is often new, exciting, and terrifying in the same breath. Some students have learned well from their parental and prior academic influences, and yet others may be overwhelmed by a lack of those same resources. As postsecondary institutions endeavor to level the proverbial playing field, helping college graduates launch into meaningful, financially independent lives, it begs additional consideration on the intervention methods that might be most impactful.
