Tourism sector is significantly important for Uttarakhand’s economy, and homestays play an imperative role in ensuring the success of the tourism industry therefore the government of Uttarakhand had come up with a homestay promotional scheme. To find out how this scheme has changed the level of motivation and challenges of the homestay owners is a pertinent question. Hence this study examines the motivation to start the homestay and the challenges experienced by homestay owners. Employee motivation in banking has become one of the most considerable issues as every firm wants to make optimistic usage of their available human resources motivating them to achieve boosted performance. The study aimed to investigate the employee motivation dynamics in Pakistan conventional banking sector for employee performance circulating an adopted questionnaire online, considering 180 respondents as the sample size using a convenience probability sampling technique with a valid response rate of 78.89%. The term ‘transformational tourism’ refers to a burgeoning subset of the travel market that goes well beyond the more established categories of just spiritual and religious tourism. This paper aims at examining tourists’ intentions to visit the Nizamuddin Shrine (Delhi) as a transformational tourism destination. The framework incorporates the constructs of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) i.e. Attitude, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioural Control with an additional construct, Motivation. How Likely Are Viewers To Watch Television Commercials: A Connectedness Perspective, Velitchka D. Kaltcheva, Anthony Patino, Dennis Pitta

With the recent return to more advertising-generated content by entertainment providers, it again becomes important to understand what will drive consumers to view commercials. We utilize the construct of television connectedness developed by Russell, Norman, and Heckler (2004) to predict viewers’ propensity to watch television commercials. Based on data derived from a survey completed by 816 residents of the United States, we estimate a logistic regression model and find that older (35+) viewers high on connectedness are more likely to view television commercials.
