This report features our latest findings on the state of San Diego’s nonprofit sector, as well as key trends and perspectives from leaders in nonprofits and philanthropy. The nonprofit sector is caught in the cross winds of major shifts in the ways that people engage in their communities and how they give. Our research shows that as public trust in institutions has waned, the nonprofit sector stands out as an exception, enjoying high public confidence.
