This case by Anthony Wilbon, Mark Bundy and Kelton Clark is designed to illustrate issues and problems in sustainability-driven entrepreneurship in the Maryland oyster industry. This once-thriving industry has been decimated in recent years by the degradation of the Chesapeake Bay's water quality, which has all but destroyed the oyster population.
