In 1933, Sharon's Cultural, Educational, Recreational Association (SCERA) was founded by the Sharon Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orem, Utah. When founded, its purpose was to provide wholesome family-oriented events, theatrical productions, and showcase Community talent. Today, in a world of declining morals, SCERA continues to provide clean entertainment for families. However, the competition in the Orem-Provo area for family entertainment has increased significantly.
