"The preparation of youth to succeed in the world of work is an important objective of the American high school."1 Students enroll in high school distributive education to develop an employable skill. The instructional program provides students with a variety of learning activities related to their occupational goals.
Distributive education has expanded to serve the whole range of distributive occupations, after starting mainly as a means of training retail sales persons. An important characteristic of distributive education has been the necessity for rapid adjustment to the changing business conditions.

The interview has been the "nerve center" in the hiring process for many years. The job interview has been defined by Heck and O'Neil (1976) as "A process of mutual inquiry between two individuals involving transmission and evaluation of information. Thus, the interview is a direct and mutual process of sharing and evaluating information" (p. 10).
Efficient utilization of an employment interview requires a clear definition of the specific purposes of the interview. First, the interview process is used as a preliminary screening to determine whether a more extensive interview is needed. Second, the interview is used as a primary …

The purpose of this study was to compare perceptions of vocational business teachers, entry-level office workers, and employers regarding employable qualifications for entry-level office workers in Utah. At the present time there does not exist any publication or other communication medium, directed specifically to a Latin American readership, that reports thoroughly and accurately on the fisheries and other marine-related developments in Latin America. The purpose of this study is to explore the extent to which Social Workers' clinical judgement is altered by administrative needs in a population of Veterans Administration social workers.
The importance of this study to research is to find out whether administrative mandates do, in fact, influence social workers' clinical judgement, hence altering treatment to some significant degree. Administrators will be interested in seeing whether there is acceptance or resistance to their directives and what factors are involved in this dimension.

The purpose of this study was to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of a training program for L.D.S. priesthood home teachers.
A twelve week workshop was written and field tested in the Fullerton California Stake. The evaluation pointed out the need for a structured and ongoing program with emphasis on the fostering of interpersonal communication and relationship skills among individual priesthood home teachers. The outcome of this project was the development of a functional product entitled "A Home Teacher's Training Manual."
