The Factors Behind A Successful Implementation Of Electronic Health Records Systems, Anjee Gorkhali
The Factors Behind A Successful Implementation Of Electronic Health Records Systems, Anjee Gorkhali
Engineering Management & Systems Engineering Theses & Dissertations
This research explores the role that budget for Information System (IS) and technical expertise of healthcare service provider staff play on the successful leap from a partial to exhaustive implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems. Technical expertise in Information Systems might not be easily measurable directly, but there are a number of indicators that could be used as a proxy, such as: Information System (IS) Department Budget, number of IS staff and the extent of technical trainings provided by the IS department to the clinical staff. This research study hypothesizes that quality technical trainings conducted by an IS department …
An Empirical Investigation Into The Relationships Between Emotional Intelligence, Use Of Knowledge Transfer Methods, And Project Performance, Brent Michael Decker
An Empirical Investigation Into The Relationships Between Emotional Intelligence, Use Of Knowledge Transfer Methods, And Project Performance, Brent Michael Decker
Engineering Management & Systems Engineering Theses & Dissertations
Increasingly, the use of project teams is becoming commonplace within organizations as the primary means to accomplish complex tasks. While the literature has long acknowledged that the knowledge transfer process is a key component in achieving organizational success and ultimately sustaining a competitive advantage, very little has been written that specifically examines the knowledge transfer process at the project team level. In an attempt to increase the understanding of knowledge transfer processes at the project team level, the effect that a relatively new construct, termed emotional intelligence, has on the use of knowledge transfer methods is examined. The relationships between …
The Relevance Of Information Systems (Is) Research Publications To Is Practitioners' Key Concerns, J. S. Fall
The Relevance Of Information Systems (Is) Research Publications To Is Practitioners' Key Concerns, J. S. Fall
Theses: Doctorates and Masters
The primary aim of the research was to determine if, and if so how, the topics published in information systems (IS) journal articles were related to the key issues reported to be of concern to IS managers. The secondary aim was to determine what proportions of the journal articles were investigating closely-related and distantly-related information, , " - technology (IT) phenomena. The research covered 1376 -articles published in nine highly rated journals for the seven-year period 1995-2001. The journals chosen for the research included five US-academic journals, two European academic journals, and two practitioner journals. -'The' primary data source for …
A Model To Forecast Civilian Personnel Inventory For The National Security Agency, Stephen G. Hoffman
A Model To Forecast Civilian Personnel Inventory For The National Security Agency, Stephen G. Hoffman
Theses and Dissertations
The purpose of this thesis is to develop a model to forecast civilian personnel inventory for the National Security Agency (NSA). Accurate prediction of personnel inventories will help the NSA with issues ranging from hiring, promotion, and ethnic/gender diversity to the development of cost-effective force reduction programs. The model must be capable of producing multiple-year forecasts of the NSA's civilian force structure with a minimum fidelity level that allows for break-out by years-of-service, career field, and grade. Historical data will be utilized to estimate logistic regression parameters that will compose the internal workings of the model. The JMP statistical software …
The Application Of A Readiness-Based Sparing Model To Foreign Military Sales, Karen M. Klinger
The Application Of A Readiness-Based Sparing Model To Foreign Military Sales, Karen M. Klinger
Theses and Dissertations
Current Foreign Military Sales FMS models provide stock levels that result in a very low system availability or a funding requirement that exceeds the overall budget. The purpose of this research was to determine if an inventory model exists that can be used in FMS reparable sparing to provide a more efficient and economical inventory purchase. The Aircraft Sustainability Model ASM is such a model, providing the most aircraft availability possible from a given inventory investment by computing the optimal number of spare parts to buy for each item. FMS data was obtained from two sources - the International Data …
