Corporate restructuring implementation failure has the potential for adverse business outcomes. Business owners are concerned with corporate restructuring implementation failure, as it is the number one predictor of the collapse of businesses. Grounded in transformational leadership theory and business process reengineering model, the purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore the processes and skills business owners use to minimize corporate restructuring implementation failure. The purpose of this research was to examine Business Process Reengineering as a feasible methodology to be used to help reorganize the Brazilian Aeronautical Ministry. Using a qualitative approach, this research developed an analysis of BPR beginning with the concepts elaborated by Hammer and Champy. The research also investigated the laws and regulations used by the United States Government to apply BPR in all branches of its military. The purpose of this thesis was to develop a tool that would allow the user the ability to determine the activities an organization should track using Activity Based Costing (ABC). This was accomplished through the assignment of costs to the maintenance of ABC data and the determination of the benefit received as a result of using ABC.
