Doctor Kingsbury, of San Francisco, became the ninety-second president of the Association at the 1955 meeting in San Francisco. The House of Delegates rescinded its policy of opposing the inclusion of dentists in Old Age and Survivors' Insurance under federal social security. Doctor Kingsbury, a general practitioner, was first vice president of the Association in 1949 and a member of the Board of Trustees from 1951 to 1954. He served as president of the San Francisco Dental Society and the California Dental Association.
