Changes in customer expectations, technological advancement, and intense competition exacerbate uncertainty, and executives are motivated to develop strategies for implementing innovative solutions to gain a competitive advantage. Anchored in the conceptual lens of the resource-based view and transformational leadership theories, the purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore strategies five c-suite executives in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas used to remain competitive and profitable. Data were collected using semistructured interviews via Zoom videoconferencing, observations, human resource manuals, publicly available materials from government websites such as financial records, and journal notes.
