The problem was that in 2016 the U.S. graduation rate of undergraduate students in for-profit higher learning institutions was only 23%, compared to 59% for public institutions and 66% for private nonprofit institutions. Multiple researchers have investigated employee turnover related to affective, continuous, and normative commitment, and none reported the predictive power of emotion regulation reappraisal on these components of commitment with turnover intentions among degree-seeking employees. The purpose of this quantitative survey research study was to explore emotion regulation reappraisal and its predictive power for organizational commitment associated with degree-seeking employees' intentions to quit jobs. To improve student achievement in urban public schools with high poverty, it is important to address specific leadership styles (i.e., transformational, transactional, and passive-avoidant leadership styles) in relationship to their school climate. In this case study, the revenue diversification practices and challenges of an international, behavioral health, nonprofit organization based out of the western United States were examined.
