Economic Impact Of Theme Park Capital Spending, Harrison Price Company

This report conducted for Sea World provides an appraisal of the economic impact of theme park capital spending, and reinvestment. The study is based on an analysis of the performance of 17 parks operated by 4 major publicly held entertainment companies, using data contained in annual reports and the 10-K reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In aggregate, the sample is broadly representative of the industry, with the parks in question accounting for nearly 60 percent of the total paid attendance in domestic U.S. theme parks.
