The Cultural Evolution Of Commercial Fishing Communities, Anthony Baker

This paper uses a Case Study method to examine the phenomena of cultural change within Commercial Fishing Communities (CFCs). Points of discussion include some of the basic principles of entrepreneurship such as risk, succession, and benefit to communities. Included is a focal discussion that reflects on past business models in comparison to newer possible models that detail the potential for extending the participation of family fishing business through innovation and diversity.
