Cultured meat can be produced from growing animal cells in-vitro rather than as part of a living animal. This technology has the potential to address several of the major ethical, environmental, and public health concerns associated with conventional meat production. However, research has highlighted some consumer uncertainty regarding the concept. Although several studies have examined the media coverage of this new food technology, research linking different frames to differences in consumer attitudes is lacking. Combining Systems Methodologies To Reduce Allergen-Related Food Recalls, Jill Marie Sweney

The risk of poor food safety is a major focus for managers in the food manufacturing industry. Despite industry-led and regulatory efforts to improve the overall food safety of US packaged consumer foods, product recalls and market withdrawals are increasing. This is especially true for the most frequent cause for food recall: the undeclared allergen. With industry trends leaning toward adoption of third-party food safety management certifications, a popular food safety code from the Safe Quality Foods Institute is evaluated using Systems Analysis. Engineering and Technology Management Student Projects
Biotechnology is the term for the techniques of managing biological systems for human benefit. A biological system can range from a single cell organism to different types of plants, animals, and to the very complicated human being. Biotechnology includes a great range of scientific and technological disciplines and has a great variety of important applications in biology, medicine, agriculture, and various industries. In our report, we shall only focus on one of the most active frontiers of today's biotechnology-human genomics.
