The Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is one of the most popular ski destinations in Utah. The resort was named the number one ski resort in the United States by Skiing Magazine for the past three years. One of the reasons Snowbird is so popular is because the resort is committed achieving the greatest possible satisfaction from it consumers. The Snowbird Resort commissioned students from Brigham Young University to determine the attitude, behavior and future expectation of holders of various Snowbird season ticket holders, and to help enlighten the resort about additional selling opportunities to their consumer. The research done in this project analyzes BYU students' position on preserving the environment and particularly measures their knowledge regarding wind power and their willingness to contribute to the purchase of wind power by BYU. Utah Clean Energy commissioned students of the Marriott School of Management at BYU to carry out this project. Research was based on 402 surveys, which were conducted throughout campus and BYU housing complexes. The survey questionnaire and the results of the survey are located in the appendix. Research was conducted for Remedez Hair and Spa during the Fall of 2003. Stephen Gray, Kim McCandless, Erika Miller, and Guy Robinson conducted the research. After several meetings with the client, the research team was able to determine the basic objective of the research project. The purpose of the research study was to determine how Remedez can best target college-aged adults, in order to increase the number of service clients served per week. The project was divided into the following three areas: focus groups, surveys, and recommendations. BYU team comprised of Stephen Gray, Kim McCandless, Erika Miller, and Guy Robinson.

Utah Valley has a very high concentration of university students. University students in Utah Valley also have the reputation of getting married quickly after starting their university careers. Because of the high number of engagements that take place in Utah Valley there are a large number of jewelry stores located around the valley trying to serve university student preferences and needs. This study will allow Wilson Diamonds to better understand student needs and implement solutions to better serve university students.
