The Securities and Exchange Commission today adopted a form for registration statements to be filed under the Investment Company Act of 1940 by registered face-amount certificate companies. The Commission also adopted an additional article to be added to Regulation S-X governing the form and content of financial statements to be filed with the Commission by such companies. A rule permitting the use of information previously filed with the Commission under the Securities Act of 1933 or the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 was also adopted.
