In July 1988, Harrison Price Company completed an analysis of the feasibility of developing a world class oceanarium in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. The findings were strongly positive and it was concluded that operating profits would support an order of magnitude investment of $300 million, which in turn, would be sufficient to construct the finest marine life park in the world. In 1979, Companias Cuauhtemoc and Sea World, Inc. were considering the development of a major theme park complex or entertainment center in Mexico City.
