The rise of Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) in recent times and their potential for investment opportunities have investors spending a lot of time researching ICOs or having to follow the crowd. This paper aims to explore four broad factors of ICOs: identity, credibility, investor sentiment, and price movement to develop a framework that is useful in determining ICO quality. Research is shown using data sources including public forums, chat groups, web sites, white papers as well as smart contract details. Finally, a system, based on the framework, is proposed that can be used to detect and regulate ICO activities and …

The paradigm of aging-in-place — where the elderly live and age in their own homes, independently and safely, with care provided by the community — is compelling, especially in societies that face both shortages in institutionalized eldercare resources, and rapidly-aging populations. Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies, particularly in-home monitoring solutions, are commercially available, and can be a fundamental enabler of smart community eldercare, if they are dependable. In this paper, we present our findings on system performance of solutions from two vendors, which we have deployed at scale for technology-enabled community care. In particular, we highlight the importance of quantifying actual system …

In this survey, we study the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on manufacturing sector. AI methods can be utilized to make new thoughts several ways: by delivering novel mixes of wellknown thoughts; by investigating the capability of theoretical spaces; and by making changes that empower the era of unexplored thoughts. AI will have less trouble in displaying the era of new thoughts than in automating their assessment. We describe the advances that have been made on AI in manufacturing industry. We close with how to overcome the issues in this area.
