Jim Young was wrapped in gratitude and honor for the many lives he’s touched—including hundreds of veterans—when he received a Quilt of Valor during a presentation July 29 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Nebraska Innovation Studio. A program launched by a student experience is helping Huskers in food science and technology majors gain hands-on experience while making positive real-world impacts.

Invest Nebraska and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development have teamed up to create the Combine Incubator, a 2,000-square-foot space in the Rise Building.
