New England’s seafood industry has been searching for opportunities to diversify their landings and build resilience as it faces socio-economic challenges from a changing climate. Developing markets for underutilized species is one way the New England community could help their seafood industry build resilience. This thesis identified New England’s underutilized fish species and explored their marketplace potential by examining their availability in a changing climate, current availability to consumers, and consumers’ responses. This study arose from a conversation with my roommate about the state of the gaming industry in terms of devices on which consumers play. We perceived a shift in our attitudes towards gaming PCs due to Covid-19 and other aspects. I wondered if this affected a wider population. If this change in attitude was widespread, it would affect different companies in the gaming industry as well and would alter consumer behavior related to large purchases in the gaming industry.

In the summer of 2019, in Killingly, Connecticut the local Board of Education voted to retire the "Redmen" mascot name it had used for nearly a century. This legislation was widely opposed and received extensive media coverage. Within a few months, the town experienced a massive political referendum where several local Board of Education members and Councilmen were replaced by single issue politicians promising to reinstate the "Redmen" name. “Caring Is Sharing”: The Effect Of Childhood Memories On Consumers’ Lending Behavior, Teodora Szabo-Douat

This research demonstrates that recalling childhood memories increases the likelihood of lending one’s possessions to someone else by making people (particularly those who are less rebellious) feel more connected to their communities. Five studies demonstrate the predicted effect of childhood memories on consumers’ lending intentions and actual lending behavior. The studies also provide evidence that childhood memories increase less-rebellious consumers’ sense of self–community connectedness, which, in turn, facilitates lending, as sharing in (sharing with family and close others) is a far more common form of sharing than sharing outside those circles.
