This report documents the Saba Strategic Tourism Master Plan, 2023-2028. The report provides directions to help Saba capitalize on new tourism related opportunities and overcome challenges that have emerged post pandemic. The plan is the outcome of a participatory process that includes multiple layers of tourism stakeholders including the residents, government officials, business owners, NGOs, community leaders, local organizations, and tourists. The purpose of this study is to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic's ongoing impact on the U.S. hospitality industry. The report details the primary economic issues the industry faces as well as provides a unique workforce analysis that anticipates continued labor shortages as the country moves towards an endemic. The research was conducted using a national survey with almost 1,000 U.S. hospitality workers. Restaurants are a significant part of American life. According to the National Restaurant Association (2009), total revenues for the restaurant industry exceed $580 billion with nearly 1,000,000 operating restaurants in the US; providing jobs for over 13 million people. The sizeable economic impact of the restaurant industry can be measured by the 4% contribution it makes to the Gross Domestic Product in the United States. In addition, the restaurant industry has been expanding at a steady rate of 2 to 4 % over the past three decades. Close to three fourths of American overseas travelers have never visited Spain . Of those who visited, three fourths visited Spain for vacation purposes . The main objective of this research proposal is to provide a database for the Spanish National Tourist Office about the current potential U.S. resident market of the Spanish Tourist Product. The study will explore the attitudes, perceptions and preferences of potential U.S. residents who have high propensity to travel to foreign destinations, in particular to Spain. This report presents the results of a survey of Central Florida residents and local tourists who did not visit Watermania. These two group will be labeled "non-visitors" The "non-visitor" survey was designed to provide a database for Watermania's management to facilitate marketing and advertising programs. The primary objective of the study was to explore non-visitors' attitudes and preferences toward Watermania and other Central Florida's tourist attractions.
