Vinoble is the world's premier fortified and sweet wine fair. It takes place over three days in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. 2018s iteration was a success with the highlight being the showcasing of 'Territorio Albariza' - a group of winemakers pushing the boundaries of traditional sherry and unfortified versions from specific terroirs. This is a report of the 2018 event held in May.

This study will investigative the factors that influence school non-attendance, in designated disadvantaged Irish primary schools (DEIS1). Currently, no comprehensive data exists on the factors contributing to the levels and types of non-attendance within the Irish context. Since 2003/2004, the National Educational Welfare Board (NEWB, Appendix A) the agency with responsibility for school attendance, has collected specific data on attendance levels and the frequency of non-attendance across all Irish schools. However, this does not provide information at the individual student level (NEWB, 2007).

The Host Institute were Maison familiale Rurale in Saulxure sur Moselette in the Vosges Mountains in Alsace in Eastern France.

The purpose of the conference was to explore staff and student mobility under the Erasmus Mobility Programme and the Erasmus Plus Programme. Representing SCAFT were Mr. James Fox and Mr. Diarmuid Murphy as well as D.I.T. placement officer Ms Oonagh Birchall. Also in attendance were lecturers from a number of IoT’s in Ireland.

This report represents a joint research initiative by the Tourism Research Centre and the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism at the Technological University Dublin with the support of Dublin Tourism.
