This study focused on the twenty resellers of buffalo dairy products in the Philippines amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to discover the pivotal factors impacting resellers’ customer experience. We investigated how pricing strategies impact reseller customer experience and retention during the COVID-19 pandemic using interview data. Reasonable pricing aligned with product value boosted favorable opinions of the brand. However, production insufficiency led to frequent out-of-stock scenarios and affected customer satisfaction. Meeting reseller demand proved instrumental in shaping positive experiences. Research Aims: Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have consistently demonstrated their resilience in the face of economic challenges, particularly during crises. This study delves into how the experiences of MSMEs before, during, and after the COVID-19 crisis have translated into resilience, self-efficacy, openness to change, and innovativeness as they responded to the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic.

Design/Methodology/Approach: This mixed-methods study combines the quantitative analysis of the characteristics of MSME owners with their narratives of their experiences during the COVID-19 crisis, translating adversity into an opportunity.

We explored an undergraduate business program’s navigation of an unplanned change, response to the Covid-19 pandemic-occasioned move to online learning, and the resilience of its curriculum by following cohorts of students through two consecutive courses from the end of 2019 through 2020 up to summer 2021. The exploration was aimed at the assessment of the impact of the pandemic-induced disruptions, i.e., how the school’s curriculum fared through the pandemic. Premised on the school’s accreditor, AACSB’s agility-cultivating curriculum guideline, the curriculum should adapt and stabilize post-pandemic. Start-ups are institutionally fragile companies that deal with high degrees of risk and uncertainty, especially during short-term shocks, such as COVID-19. This policy brief attempts to identify the needed development in the start-up supporting ecosystem under COVID-19 pandemic, with a special focus on human capital management (HCM), decent work, and labor resilience in start-ups in Egypt. The core question of the paper is: How did COVID-19 pandemic affect the HCM practices in Egyptian start-ups and what is needed for start-ups in Egypt to recover from the crisis and sustain decent jobs and labor resilience?
