The Coleman Entrepreneurship Center (CEC) is an entrepreneurship support organization at DePaul University, with the mission of helping entrepreneurs succeed through exceptional assistance, valuable linkages, and innovation thinking.
Established in 2003, the CEC complements DePaul's prestigious and highly acclaimed academic entrepreneurship program that has offered concentrations in entrepreneurship at both the undergraduate and graduate levels for over 20 years.

In 2005, Greg approached the Coleman Center with his business plan for LiftSeat, which develops, manufactures and markets a full line of toilet transfer solutions that reduce falls and increase patient and caregiver safety. After extensive coaching and editing assistance, Greg pitched his plan to a group of angel investors assembled by the Coleman Center in 2006. That led to an introduction to an area angel network, which invested over $300,000 in LiftSeat as part of a nearly $1 million round of funding.
