The upward movement in the level of money supply narrowly defined (Ml) which occurred in third quarter of 1984 continued in the fourth. At the end of December, MI stood at NI 2,204.1 million, increasing by N664.0 million or 5.8 per cent over the level at the end of the preceding quarter.
