Despite the benefits of diets containing fresh fruits and vegetables such as a lower risk of heart disease, very few Americans, especially low-income individuals, consume enough to meet the recommended amounts. For our Honor’s Project our team focused on the Ohio based SNAP-EBT food share program Produce Perks.
