Since athletic programs are often viewed as the front porch of the higher education institutions, recruiting talented student-athletes is vital and challenging task under the unreasonable demand of high performance, limited and decreasing budget, and dwindling student enrollment. Additionally, the increasing use of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals and transfer portal across the nation have made administrators and coaches worried about their effect on recruitment and program retention. They are at the forefront of Canada’s fastest-growing population, yet continue to face barriers in health, education and justice systems. Indigenous tourism often exploits Indigenous communities. However, self-driven Indigenous tourism is an opportunity for Indigenous communities to strengthen their culture and economy. Many Indigenous youth aspire to start businesses. Their products are often sold not just nationally, but also to international customers. The Covid-19 pandemic has altered the paradigm of risk and recovery management but it is just one of many pandemics to have impacted destinations during the last two decades. This study examine how destination officials combated the image crises that followed SARS-2003, H1N1 Swine flu 2009-10, Zika 2016-17 and Covid-19. The literature dealing with combating pandemics has focused on the actual management of either a specific pandemic or regional aspects of a pandemic and less on the recovery marketing and image repair aspect. Due to the ubiquity of casinos, both brick and mortar and online, problem gambling has emerged as a significant public health issue. It is estimated that 30% - 50% of all casino revenues are generated from problem gamblers who tend to be disproportionately male, young, and minority group members (Welte et al. 2014). Although prior research has examined the mediating role of gambling behaviors in the relationship between casino marketing strategies and problem gambling, it is not clear what role casino loyalty programs play in predicting problem gambling, particularly in underserved and minority populations. While the Chinese GenX spend largely in gambling activities during their visits to the destinations which are famous for their casino tourism industry, the GenY have shown less enthusiasm to be the high rollers. Regarding the Chinese GenZ, their spending behaviours in casino tourism will continue to exhibit changes and differences comparing to the GenX and GenY, especially for the non-gaming expenditure. Not much focus has been given to this area of marketing in the existing literature as well as practice in the context of the FMCG sector in Karachi, Pakistan. The current study examined the influences of perceived environmental responsibilities of the three types of important social agents (individuals, companies, and governments) on consumers’ green purchasing intentions. Drawing on the environmental consumerism and purchase decision making literature, consumers’ perceptions of the aforementioned social agents’ roles in environment protection were hypothesized to influence their purchase intentions for green products. Little research has incorporated a theoretical framework for the analysis of message and creative strategies used in DTCA to date. The purpose of the current study is to extend the previous literature by providing a more complete list of DTCA message and/or creativity strategies based on Taylor’s message strategy wheel. The results show that DTCA has been used to promote drugs for such life-threatening conditions as asthma, acid reflux, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, and arthritis. Project Description: Brands increasingly engage customers through social media platforms. However, just like human, brands too can make mistake when interacting with customers. The higher the engagement, the higher the chance of brands committing mistakes. These mistakes tend to be amplified in the context of social media, which may eventually lead to a firestorm against the brand. Social media firestorm refers to a sudden, rapid discharge of large quantities of intensely negative messages against a brand. Internet access continues to increase among the youth in developing countries, like South Africa, due to the exponential growth of mobile penetration and the higher education system’s reliance on Information and Communication Technologies.
