Although record-keeping by small- and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) has been extensively researched, there is a paucity of research on indigenous and innovative record-keeping. This paper examines the indigenous and innovative record-keeping practices of petty traders in Kumasi, Ghana, with a focus on how they gain a competitive advantage. In addition, it aims to derive a theoretical model from the findings of the study using grounded theory. The primary aim of this study is to explore the impact of human capital variables
(knowledge, efficiency, skills, experience) as a source in achieving competitive advantage
in small and medium Jordanian organizations.
Population of (74) small and medium Jordanian organizations register in Amman
Financial Market, from which a sample of (38) respondent drawn randomly to represented
managers working at these organizations. A questionnaire developed by
the researcher was administrated to subject (n=76) returned usable versions were
(51) with return percentage (75 %).

This paper discusses the ability of Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) to use financial literacy instruments operating in Situ Cisanti. According to research findings Bumdes financial literacy increases with financial training, where the training trains management in making strategic decisions. The level of financial literacy or financial literacy of the stakeholders participating in this study is higher, and the tendency of participation rates is quite high when it is associated with investment and a sense of concern in actively advancing Village Owned Enterprises (cohesiveness). With the prevalence of information technology (IT), the value of IT awareness increasingly grows, and IT control becomes a key part of firms’ strategies and objectives. Although leadership plays an important role in IT control governance, limited research has studied whether IT awareness is associated with IT control weaknesses (ITCWs) and firm performance simultaneously.
