A Quantitative Assessment Of Effective Sustainable Waste Management Using An Ahp-Topsis Methodology In A Neutrosophic Environment (In India), Sneha Baskaran, Ezhilmaran Devarasan

Baghdad Science Journal

Waste management is a key to sustainable development and environmental safety, particularly in the environment of the fast evolving smart cities. This study proposes a new decision-making model that will assist in the process of choosing effective sustainable methods in waste management for smart cities. It compares the four methods of waste management in relation to seven factors. Two Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) are used i) Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and ii) Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) in a Neutrosophic Soft Set (NSS) environment. NSS have a more adaptive structure on dealing with the uncertainty …

Neutrosophic Performance Evaluation Of A Consulting Firm Using A Hybrid Topsis-Owa Model From The Perspective Of Consultants And Auditors, Vladimir Vega Falcón Oct 2025

Neutrosophic Performance Evaluation Of A Consulting Firm Using A Hybrid Topsis-Owa Model From The Perspective Of Consultants And Auditors, Vladimir Vega Falcón

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

Yet performance evaluation of consulting firms faces uncertainty and subjectivity for the auditor's consultant perspective a concern for problematizing proper strategic choice. This condition is relevant since consulting firms are integral to any enterprise problem solving, and identifying where productivity exists only makes firms more competitive and enhances quality of service to their clients. Yet the literature does not provide any constructs to properly apply indeterminacy to human assessments as operations are based on crisp integers and binary true/false logic which does not adequately represent the holistic expertise of the professional. Therefore, this study proposes a hybrid neutrosophic TOPSIS-OWA assessment …

Strategies For Harmonic Mitigation In Water Pumping Systems Using Neutrosophic Logic., Jefferson A. Porras, Luis R. Curipoma, Byron P. Corrales, Jorge L. Villarroel

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

This study analyzed harmonic contamination in Quillán 1 and Quillán 2 pumping stations, characterizing the electrical system conditions and proposing solutions that addressed actual operational requirements. High levels of harmonic distortion were identified, particularly in 5th and 7th order harmonics, which exceeded the limits established by national regulations, despite the system presenting adequate energy utilization. To select the most appropriate mitigation strategy, the TOPSIS method under neutrosophic logic was applied, which allowed the integration of expert perception and the inherent indetermination margins of such systems. This logic, which simultaneously considers degrees of truth, falsehood, and uncertainty, enabled the evaluation of …

Comparative Analysis Of Multi-Criteria Techniques In Neutrosophic Environment And Their Applications To Economic Condition Assessment, Asmaa Elsayed, Mai Mohamed

Neutrosophic Systems with Applications

In economic decision-making, the challenge of evaluating multiple, often conflicting criteria necessitates advanced Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques. Traditional methods can struggle with the inherent uncertainty, ambiguity, and imprecision of real-world data. This paper addresses these challenges by investigating the effectiveness of various MCDM techniques within neutrosophic environments, with a particular focus on the Criteria-wise Alternatives Ranking and Correlation Analysis for Composite Scoring (CARCACS) method. Neutrosophic sets, which incorporate truth, falsity, and indeterminacy, provide a robust framework for addressing the vagueness and inconsistencies found in economic indicators such as GDP growth, employment levels, inflation rates, trade balances, investment activity, and government …

Neutrosophic Analysis Of Strategies To Improve Productivity In An Restaurant Chain, Efrén Gonzalo Montenegro Cueva, Milena Alejandra Napa Alcívar

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems

The study analyzed productivity in an Ecuadorian restaurant chain using a multicriteria approach within a neu-trosophic framework. The research focused on identifying effective strategies to optimize processes and address-ing specific challenges such as staff turnover and compensation management. The TOPSIS method, combined with bipolar neutrosophic numbers, was employed to evaluate a group of strategies based on high-impact crite-ria. The results highlighted the implementation of economic incentives, training and retention programs, and performance management systems as the most effective alternatives. In contrast, internal communication cam-paigns and flexible schedules were found to be less prioritized. The research demonstrated the utility of neutro-sophic …

(R1509) Topsis And Vikor Methods For Spherical Fuzzy Soft Set Aggregating Operator Framework, M. Palanikumar, K. Arulmozhi, Lejo J. Manavalan

Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)

The Spherical Fuzzy Soft (SFS) set is a generalization of the Pythagorean fuzzy soft set and the intuitionistic fuzzy soft set. We introduce the concept of aggregating SFS decision matrices based on aggregated operations. The techniques for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and viekriterijumsko kompromisno rangiranje (VIKOR) for the SFS approaches are the strong points of multi criteria group decision making (MCGDM), which is various extensions of fuzzy soft sets. We define a score function based on aggregating TOPSIS and VIKOR methods to the SFS-positive and SFS-negative ideal solutions. The TOPSIS and VIKOR methods provide decision-making …
