Study Of Victimization And Perception Of Insecurity In Ecuador: Application Of Hybrid Models With Logistic Regression, Machine Learning, And Neutrosophy, Lorenzo Cevallos-Torres, Mauro M. F. Mediano
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Given the victim's rising profile in contemporary victimology and criminology, this study examines victimization and the impact of perceived insecurity, paying particular attention to the situation in Ecuador, where reports of crime and violence in urban areas are on the rise. The overarching goal is to create a reliable model for victimization risk assessment that may also serve as an analytical tool for public policymaking and preventative efforts. One step is to build a classic logistic regression model that takes into account variables like age, sex, education level, occupational category, and level of physical activity. The goal is to understand …

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This study aims to utilize a hybrid predictive model to evaluate the mortality risk in COVID-19 patients with comorbidities. It is challenging to make clinical decisions while dealing with SARS-CoV-2 because of the high death rate related to chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), renal failure, heart disease, and cancer. To overcome this obstacle, a Monte Carlo algorithm-based simulated database was created, with clinical variables represented by Bernoulli and truncated normal distributions. Several prediction models, including Decision Trees, Naive Bayes, and Neutrosophic Statistics, were trained using this database. While the neutrosophic model permitted risk categorization …

This paper aims to determine the influence of incorporating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in solving mathematical problems in students of the Primary Educational Institution N° 70656 Ricardo Palma Puno, Peru. To collect the information, a pre-test and a post-test were applied in the variable "resolution of mathematical problems" to an experimental group that received classes with the help of the use of ICT. The test was applied to a control group of the same age that followed the traditional method of learning mathematics. Teachers were asked to evaluate children using a linguistic scale because it is simpler and more …

Neutrosophic Statistical Analysis Of The Efficacy Of Biostimulants In Amaranth Varieties, Carlos Torres Miño, Christina Lozano, Emerson Jácome, David Carrera Molina, Murat Gins
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This study evaluated the effects of biostimulants on two varieties of amaranth, Valentina (Amaranthus tricolor) and Ne-zhenka (Amaranthus hybridus), in terms of germination, growth, and biomass production. Using neutrosophic statistics allowed for the measurement of indeterminacies and the analysis of variables such as days to germination, stem length, number of leaves, and biomass production. The results showed that seaweed extract was the most effective biostimulant, accelerating germination, increasing stem length and the number of leaves, and maximizing biomass production. Mean-while, Nezhenka stood out for its superior biomass production, especially with seaweed extract, while Valentina was no-table for its rapid germination. …

Neutrosophic Statistical Analysis Of Temperatures Of Cities In The Southeastern Anatolia Region Of Turkey, Hacer Şengül Kandemir, Nazlım Deniz Aral, Murat Karakaş, Mikail Et
Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
In the paper, neutrosophic statistical analysis of temperature data of different cities in the southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey is given. The neutrosophic mean and neutrosophic coefficient of variation are computed using the temperature data. From the analysis, it is concluded that the temperatures of Mardin and Şanlıurfa cities are more consistent than the other cities in Turkey. In addition, the neutrosophic results are compared with results under classical statistics. Based on the comparative study, it can be concluded that neutrosophic statistical results are more adequate, flexible, and more informative than classical statistics.

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This research aims at deepening the validation of knee arthrofibrosis rehabilitation techniques. It begins with a bibliographic review and an initial diagnosis that justifies the need to investigate these issues, and aspects that give consistency to them. We designed both a pre-test and a post-test, where the patient is physically examined, as well as a questionnaire is applied about the degree of pain or degree of independence. In the study we proposed to the patients to answer questions about the pain degree in form of intervals rather than single values, this allows us to assess most accurately what patients feel, …

Neutrosophic Statistics means statistical analysis of population or sample that has indeterminate (imprecise, ambiguous, vague, incomplete, unknown) data. For example, the population or sample size might not be exactly determinate because of some individuals that partially belong to the population or sample, and partially they do not belong, or individuals whose appurtenance is completely unknown. Also, there are population or sample individuals whose data could be indeterminate.
In this book, we develop the 1995 notion of neutrosophic statistics. We present various practical examples. It is possible to define the neutrosophic statistics in many ways, because there are various types of …
