A Quantitative Assessment Of Effective Sustainable Waste Management Using An Ahp-Topsis Methodology In A Neutrosophic Environment (In India), Sneha Baskaran, Ezhilmaran Devarasan
Baghdad Science Journal
Waste management is a key to sustainable development and environmental safety, particularly in the environment of the fast evolving smart cities. This study proposes a new decision-making model that will assist in the process of choosing effective sustainable methods in waste management for smart cities. It compares the four methods of waste management in relation to seven factors. Two Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) are used i) Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and ii) Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) in a Neutrosophic Soft Set (NSS) environment. NSS have a more adaptive structure on dealing with the uncertainty …

Nahp For The Selection Of Analgesic Treatments In Third Molar Surgery, Mónica Sofia Pallo Sarabia, Lenin Rubén Imbacuán Jiménez, Marjorie Elizabeth Valdivieso Villacís, Ximena Pallo Sarabia
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The optimal selection of analgesics for third molar removal is a pressing concern due to patient-specific benefits and unknown ramifications of treatment efficacy. This is a major concern relative to dentistry and the health field in general because optimal analgesic selection minimizes postoperative adverse events and improves recovery and quality of life; improper selection does the opposite. Yet much of the research conducted fails to combine a systematic selection process with the uncertainty surrounding efficacy versus adverse events versus patient-related considerations. Therefore, this research uses a systematic approach via Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (NAHP) which allows for true, indeterminate, and …

Hybrid Neutrosophic Multi-Criteria Decision Model For Guest Selection In Collaborative Tourism Platforms, Vladimir Vega Falcón, Yoarnelys Vasallo Villalonga, Lorenzo Cevallos-Torres
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This study presents a hybrid multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model applied to the guest selection process in Airbnb-style vacation rentals. The model integrates the PAPRIKA method, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Neutrosophic TOPSIS to evaluate and rank potential guests based on multiple criteria prioritized by experienced property owners. Through the 1000minds software, pairwise comparisons were conducted to elicit preferences and derive normalized weights for six key criteria, with “review history” emerging as the most influential. These weights were then incorporated into classical and neutrosophic TOPSIS evaluations to account for uncertainty, indeterminacy, and subjectivity in guest profiles. Results highlight consistent rankings across …
Neutrosophic Assessment Of Legal Certainty In The Digital Transformation Of Logistics In Callao: A Comparative Study Based On Svnn And The Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (Ahp)., Edwin Collazos Paucar, Jorge Luis Mera Ramírez, Rilke Chong Vela, Jorge Luis Arrué Flores, Víctor Linares Pezo, José Regulo Ramírez Águila, Víctor Raúl Reategui Paredes
Neutrosophic Assessment Of Legal Certainty In The Digital Transformation Of Logistics In Callao: A Comparative Study Based On Svnn And The Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (Ahp)., Edwin Collazos Paucar, Jorge Luis Mera Ramírez, Rilke Chong Vela, Jorge Luis Arrué Flores, Víctor Linares Pezo, José Regulo Ramírez Águila, Víctor Raúl Reategui Paredes
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The digitalization of the logistics sector in Callao challenges the notion of legal certainty. The implementation of new technologies such as electronic signatures and smart contracts generates uncertainty, exposing individuals and legal entities to greater risks if adequate legal protection is not in place. Although prior research on regulatory compliance exists, little has been done to certify legality over time and in the present. To address legal ambiguity and contradictions, this study proposes a neutrosophic approach. A model is constructed by applying the logic of Single Valued Neutrosophic Numbers (SVNN) and weighting through the Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). By …

Analyzing Internal And External Factors For Ecological Preservation In San Juan De Pastocalle: A Combined Swot And Neutrosophic Ahp Approach, Magaly Lucia Benalcázar Luna, Ana Lucía Naranjo, Luis Fernando Muisin Salazar
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This study aimed to analyze the role of Community Circles in preserving the ecological link in the rural parish of San Juan de Pastocalle, identifying both the factors that enhance and those that limit this process. The SWOT analysis combined with the neutrosophic AHP method was applied to evaluate the key elements that affect eco-logical sustainability in the community. The results revealed that the main weaknesses were the lack of training in adequate recycling and the poor infrastructure for waste management. Strategic actions focused on strengthen-ing local capacities and ensuring economic support were proposed. The use of decision-making methods apply-ing …

Transition Supply Chain 4.0 To Supply Chain 5.0: Innovations Of Industry 5.0 Technologies Toward Smart Supply Chain Partners, Mona Mohamed, Karam M. Sallam, Ali Wagdy Mohamed
Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
Industry 4.0 provides businesses with the tools they need to meet difficulties such as fluctuating demand and unstable markets. Additionally, Industry 4.0 refers to the connectivity of computers, various materials, and artificial intelligence (AI) with minimum involvement from humans in the decision-making process. Although Industry 4.0 has a significant potential for the expansion of the industrial sector, it faces several hurdles, including integration of technology, problems with human resources, problems with supply chains, and data security concerns. The human-centered approach that Industry 5.0 took meant that many of the problems that plagued Industry 4.0 could finally be solved. In the …

Ranking And Analysis The Strategies Of Crowd Management To Reduce The Risks Of Crushes And Stampedes In Crowded Environments And Ensure The Safety Of Passengers, Waleed Tawfiq Al-Nami
Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
Public gatherings, transit hubs, stadiums, and crowded retail malls are just a few examples of places where crowd management has become an urgent issue in recent years. Effective crowd management strategies have been required due to the increasing population, urbanization, and frequency of large-scale meetings. These strategies are used in dynamic, sometimes chaotic, circumstances to protect people and facilitate their free movement. The purpose of this study is to analyze and rank various strategies for crowd management to reduce the risks of crushes and stampedes, improve security, and facilitate smoother traffic flow. This study used the single-valued neutrosophic set to …

A Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (Mcdm) Approach For Data-Driven Distance Learning Recommendations, Aysha Meshaal Alshamsi
Theses
Distance learning has been adopted as an alternative learning strategy to the dominant face-to-face teaching methodology. It has been largely implemented by many governments worldwide due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implication in enforcing lockdown and social distancing. In emergency situations distance learning is referred to as Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT). Due to this dynamic, sudden shift, and scaling demand in distance learning, many challenges have been accentuated. These include technological adoption, student commitments, parent involvement, and teacher extra burden management, changes in the organization methodology, in addition to government development of new guidelines and regulations …

The purpose of this paper is to present an e[xtension and alternative of the hybrid method based on Saaty’s Analytical Hierarchy Process and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method (AHP-TOPSIS), that based on the AHP and its use of pairwise comparisons, to a new method called α -D MCDM-TOPSIS( α -Discounting Method for multicriteria decision making-TOPSIS). The new method overcomes limits of AHP which work only for pairwise comparisons of criteria to any-wise (n-wise) comparisons, with crisp coefficients or with interval-valued coefficients. α-D MCDM-TOPSIS is verified by some examples to demonstrate how it allows for consistency, …
