Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manajemen program latihan sekolah sepakbola (SSB) Gajah Mada (GAMA) Yogyakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini meliputi: anggota siswa SSB (3 orang), pelatih (1 orang), pengurus (1 orang) dan orang tua atlet (3 orang) SSB GAMA Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah sepakbola GAMA yang dijadikan tempat pengambilan data manajemen pengelolaan program latihan sudah dilakukan dengan optimal. Sekolah sepakbola yang dijadikan tempat pengambilan data telah menerapkan lima fungsi manajemen. Lima fungsi manajemen itu meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, aktuating, pengendalian dan budgeting. …

In the field of sport management, internships have been shown to be an important factor in the initial placement in the sport industry. Previous work has cited both design elements and the experience itself as being critical to internship success or failure. As the SJFC program requires two distinct required experiences, the purpose of this study was to explore the impact of these experiences on recent graduate’s confidence levels. Business success continues to be influenced by employee job satisfaction because satisfied employees are more likely to produce quality work, stay motivated, and continue with the organization for a longer period of time. Exemplification theory states that the sample is applied to the whole. This paper specifically look into how the media’s coverage of certain high-profile National Football League (NFL) cases may have created a negative perception about the NFL. Specifically, this paper will compare exemplars and the effects they have. The media play a large role in how players, leagues, and teams are perceived. However, our results do not support this idea. Athletes have the common issue on whether they should report a concussion or to continue to play through it. The athletes often suspect symptoms of concussions but then do not connect them to the injury concussion itself. Personal and external factors play a role in their decision making. This study looked at the St. John Fisher athletes and their decision making process on whether they report or not. The study included six football athletes and two non-football athletes, including a basketball and soccer athlete. K-12 Christian schools in the United States are experiencing decreases in enrollment and an increasing number of closures. This qualitative phenomenological study used semi-structured interviews to gain an understanding of the leadership practices of K-12 Christian school leaders in the United States. Six K-12 Christian schools located in the United States were identified as sustainable and their school leaders were interviewed. The leadership practices involved in managing their respective schools were studied and analyzed using three phases: in vivo coding, pattern coding, and code weaving.
