The Effect Of Outpatient Physiotherapy After Stroke On Cardiopulmonary Training Goals: The Current Situation In A Single Medical Center, Yichun Lu, Chiachi Huang, Chenliang Chou
Rehabilitation Practice and Science
Study background and objectives: Reduced cardiopulmonary function after stroke has drawn increasing attention. Cardiovascular function and muscle fiber composition change after stroke, leading to a decline in physical fitness. Some studies have also reported decreased maximum oxygen uptake after stroke, which would further reduce patient ability to perform daily life functions, inducing a circle of disability and reduced mobility. Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation after early or late strokes has been found to improve cardiopulmonary function; these improvements are especially noticeable in patients with lower levels of physical activity before their stroke onset. Rehabilitation Practice and Science
Objective: This study investigated the effect of cluster probe low level laser therapy (LLLT) with a continuous wavelength of 830 nm or 980 nm on the myofascial trigger spot (MTrS) in rabbit skeletal muscle, an animal model of myofascial pain syndrome (MPS). Methods: Thirty-seven New Zealand rabbits with MTrSs in the thigh muscle were divided into three groups and were given placebo treatment (0 J/leg/day), 830 nm LLLT (6 J/leg/day), and 980 nm LLLT (6 J/leg/day), respectively, for 5 days. Frankia strain AvcI1, isolated from root nodules of Alnus viridis subsp. crispa, is a member of Frankia lineage Ia, which is able to reinfect plants of the Betulaceae and Myricaceae families. Here, we report a 7.7-Mbp draft genome sequence with a G+C content of 72.41% and 6,470 candidate protein-encoding genes.

Pengembangan Instrumen Penilaian Kinerja Kemampuan Inkuiri Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Fisika Sma, Supahar Supahar, Zuhdan Kun Prasetyo
Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian kinerja kemampuan inkuiri mata pelajaran fisika peserta didik SMA. Instrumen terdiri atas empat paket perangkat tes yang masing-masing terdiri atas 30 butir tes termasuk 9 butir bersama yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli pendidikan fisika, ahli fisika, ahli pengukuran, dan praktisi. Instrumen diujicobakan pada 2015 peserta didik. Model respon butir politomus empat kategori digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil uji coba menurut Partial Credit Model (PCM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, berdasarkan kriteria batas terendah dan tertinggi mean INFIT MNSQ, yaitu 0,77 dan 1,30 butir tes semuanya fit dengan model PCM. Tingkat kesulitan butir-butir …

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi secara komprehensif tentang implementasi pendekatan keterampilan proses (PKP) dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMAN Kota Semarang, dan mengungkap berbagai faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi kesenjangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan pendekatan mixed-method, diawali dengan penggunaan metode kuantitatif dilanjutkan dengan metode kualitatif. Data kuantitatif tingkat penggunaan keterampilan proses oleh peserta didik dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner dikembangkan dengan memodifikasi langkah Madaus et al., Claeys et al., dan Wheeler, melalui tahap review literatur, mengkonstruksi instrumen, menetapkan validitas isi dengan cara validasi pakar, dan uji coba lapangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan pendekatan saintifik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran.Kualitas perangkat pembelajaran terdiri dari tiga kriteria berikut: (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, dan (3) keefektifan. With scientific consensus regarding the occurrence of climate variability and climate change it is clear that farmers can benefit from science-based adaptation strategies for managing climate-related risk. To this end, cooperative extension professionals must engage in climate training events that are carefully planned and tailored to their specific needs. This study consisted of 50 interviews with extension professionals from four states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina) and collected information about the perceptions of climate variability and change as well as the preferred approaches for climate-related training in extension. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi program pembelajaran IPA SMP di Kabupaten Bone Bolango berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 65 Tahun 2013 tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model Countenace Stake. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. The Lower Colorado River and Rio Grande Basins are home to many riparian vertebrate species with different degrees of rarity. In our study, we focused on two species of birds and two species of gartersnakes that are associated with riparian areas: the Yellow-breasted Chat (Icteria virens), the Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia), the Northern Mexican Gartersnake (Thamnophis eques megalops) and the Narrow-headed Gartersnake (T. rufipunctatus). While the extent of distributions of these species is relatively large, they are often patchily distributed in populations that are small; in addition, both gartersnake species are listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. Touch DNA can be of use in establishing what may have occurred through reconstruction of events based on biological evidence transfer. However, interpretation of results and patterns must be approached with some caution as in the alleged child abuse case detailed here. This case was brought forward as a touch DNA and body fluid case where the male in question was a father reported to have forced a young child to perform oral sex on him. Her pajamas were collected and evaluated for presence of body fluids and associated DNA. The sleeves of the pajamas tested positive for amylase, a …
