Qualitative And Quantitative Analysis Of Solar Hydrogen Generation Literature From 2001 To 2014, M. Maghami, S. Navabi Asl, M.I. Rezadad, N. Ale Ebrahim, C. Gomes
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Solar hydrogen generation is one of the new topics in the field of renewable energy. Recently, the rate of investigation about hydrogen generation is growing dramatically in many countries. Many studies have been done about hydrogen generation from natural resources such as wind, solar, coal etc. In this work we evaluated global scientific production of solar hydrogen generation papers from 2001 to 2014 in any journal of all the subject categories of the Science Citation Index compiled by Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), Philadelphia, USA. Solar hydrogen generation was used as keywords to search the parts of titles, abstracts, or …
Virtual R&D Teams: A New Model For Product Development, N. Ale Ebrahim
Virtual R&D Teams: A New Model For Product Development, N. Ale Ebrahim
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Increased global competitions have urged small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to develop new products faster. Virtual research and development (R&D) teams in SMEs can offer a solution to speed up time-to-market of new product development (NPD). However, factors that affect the effectiveness of virtual teams for NPD are still not adequately verified. This book presents the correlations between virtual R&D team constructs and virtual team effectiveness by developing a "Virtual Research and Development Team" (ViR&DT) model. The items, which may influence the effectiveness of virtual teams, are taken from the literature. Through an online survey and by application of structural …
Effective Factors For Increasing University Publication And Citation Rate, M. Shahbazi-Moghadam, H. Salehi, N. Ale Ebrahim, M. Mohammadjafari, H. Gholizadeh
Effective Factors For Increasing University Publication And Citation Rate, M. Shahbazi-Moghadam, H. Salehi, N. Ale Ebrahim, M. Mohammadjafari, H. Gholizadeh
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Despite the vital role of paper publication and citation in higher education institutions (HEIs), literature on publication exercises is relatively scarce. There are a number of factors which influence the rate of university publications and citations. Accordingly, with a focus on policy perspectives, this paper discusses publication exercises by addressing the factors that can increase or decrease the rate of publication and citation in HEIs. The investigated zones are divided into two macro and micro levels, in which macro level deals with global policy and micro level is related to local and university policies. The effective factors and their relevant …

The Scientific Articles On Art Criticism, M. Hedayat, P. Jahangiri, A. Torkamani, M. Mashayekhi, M.K. Sabzali, N. Ale Ebrahim
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Research has been extremely involved in improving in the art criticism area. These improvements are reflected in scientific articles. This article purposed to investigate the 214 articles in art criticism to explore their main characteristics. These articles published in the Web of Science database of the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI) from the period of 1980 till 20 December 2013. Types of articles were article and review which is included in the study. The three top cited (more than 10 times citations) articles in art criticism were published in 1993 and 1999. The 214 articles mean citation rate was 0.87 …
Clinical Evaluation And Improvement Of Prosthetic Suspension Systems For Lower Limb Amputees / Hossein Gholizadeh Vazvani, Gholizadeh Vazvani Hossein
Clinical Evaluation And Improvement Of Prosthetic Suspension Systems For Lower Limb Amputees / Hossein Gholizadeh Vazvani, Gholizadeh Vazvani Hossein
Student Works (2010-2019)
The method of attachment of a prosthesis to the residual limb (suspension system) is a critical issue in the process of providing prosthesis to an amputee. Proper fit of the stump inside the socket and appropriate selection of prosthetic suspension positively affect the amputees’ gait, distribution of pressure within the socket, and amputees’ satisfaction. This research aimed to: (1) conduct a survey to compare the effects of seal-in liner and common suction socket (CSS) on transfemoral amputees’ satisfaction; (2) compare the effects of the Seal-In liner (suction) and Dermo liner (Pin/lock) on transtibial amputees’ gait performance; and (3) design and …
Does A Long Reference List Guarantee More Citations? Analysis Of Malaysian Highly Cited And Review Papers, Nader Ale Ebrahim, H. Ebrahimian, Maryam Mousavi, Farzad Tahriri
Does A Long Reference List Guarantee More Citations? Analysis Of Malaysian Highly Cited And Review Papers, Nader Ale Ebrahim, H. Ebrahimian, Maryam Mousavi, Farzad Tahriri
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Earlier publications have shown that the number of references as well as the number of received citations are field-dependent. Consequently, a long reference list may lead to more citations. The purpose of this article is to study the concrete relationship between number of references and citation counts. This article tries to find an answer for the concrete case of Malaysian highly cited papers and Malaysian review papers. Malaysian paper is a paper with at least one Malaysian affiliation. A total of 2466 papers consisting of two sets, namely 1966 review papers and 500 highly-cited articles, are studied. The statistical analysis …

Publication Trends In Physics Education: A Bibliometric Study, S. M. Jamali, A. N. Md Zain, M. A. Samsudin, N. Ale Ebrahim
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
A publication trend in Physics Education by employing bibliometric analysis leads the researchers to describe current scientific movement. This paper tries to answer “What do Physics education scientists concentrate in their publications?” by analyzing the productivity and development of publications on the subject category of Physics Education in the period 1980–2013. The Web of Science databases in the research areas of “EDUCATION - EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH” was used to extract the publication trends. The study involves 1360 publications, including 840 articles, 503 proceedings paper, 22 reviews, 7 editorial material, 6 Book review, and one Biographical item. Number of publications with “Physical …

100 Most Cited Articles In Urban Green And Open Spaces: A Bibliometric Analysis, M. Rakhshandehroo, M.J.M. Yusof, N. Ale Ebrahim, A. Sharghi, R. Arabi
Research Publications (2011 to 2015)
Researchers have contributed significantly to the development of the subject of urban green and open spaces (UGOS) in both practical and fundamental aspects. As the number of citations indicates a paper and author's competency, the online web of science (ISI) was browsed to identify the 100 most cited papers in the field of UGOS from 1980 to 2013. Papers were analyzed for authorship, journal sources, publishers, institutions, countries, year of publication, categories, and author keywords. The total number of citations was compared to the average number of citations per year. From 1105 UGOS papers returned, the maximum number of citations …
