The December 12, 1997 Issue of IBPP provides an analysis supporting the trading and purchasing of pollution- emissions rights as means to responsibly confront the threat of global warming. The present article maintains this stance in critiquing a December 15, 1997 article in The New York Times by Michael J. Sandel, a professor of government at Harvard University.

Wooster makes the list of top 25 Colleges producing Peace Corps graduates. Wooster Communication Club, Lambda Pi Eta, was honored as the national chapter of the year. Muslim students on campus held a panel about Islam. Wooster hosted a College Bowl trivia competition, also known as the [sic] 'battle of the brains.' The arts and entertainment section gives a rave review of the animated film 'Anastasia,' recently released by rival Disney animators, Fox Studios. The final three pages cover sports news.

A Plan For Characterizing Waste For The Defense Special Weapons Agency At The Nevada Test Site, Tiffany A. Hatcher

In 1976, Congress adopted the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to govern hazardous waste. The Act was amended in 1984 with the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments in order to further define the requirements of RCRA. RCRA is meant to protect human health and the environment from the effects of hazardous waste, promote waste minimization, and encourage material recycling and recovery. For this purpose, regulations are implemented that cover every aspect of the hazardous waste problem, including generation, transport, treatment, storage, and disposal.
Generators of waste are the most important part of this chain. As defined in RCRA, a …
