Treatments in dentistry currently consist of an interdisciplinary approach, including (but not necessarily limited to) the holistic perspective. The different fields of allopathic and complementary medicine are used together to ensure not only a high-quality restorative treatment, but also to provide patients with psychological and emotional support. This perspective also applies to dental anxiety, which consists of complex (emotional, vegetative and psychomotor) manifestations. One of the most well-known complementary therapies for reducing dental fear and anxiety is BachTM Flower Therapy. The study aimed to understand the lived experience of cancer patients who abandon treatment. Four semi-structured interviews were conducted, and the data was examined using interpretative phenomenological analysis. It resulted in four superordinate themes: (i) ‘Lack of knowledge about cancer’ dealt with patients’ knowledge and perceptions about their cancer. (ii) ‘Hopelessness with oneself and God.’ (iii) ‘Distress caused by numerous cancer-related issues’ captured the challenges faced by cancer patients. The last superordinate theme, (iv) Patient dissatisfaction with physicians and treatment’ dealt with cancer patients’ interaction with and expectations from their oncologists and the medical staff. Venezuela's sociopolitical landscape has deteriorated significantly over the past decade, culminating in a profound humanitarian crisis. This ethnography, conducted from 2015 to the present, explores the experiences of a study group comprising 2000 Venezuelan communication college students, aged 17 to 25, who navigate structural violence while striving for quality higher education. The research employed a multifaceted approach, encompassing interviews, focus groups, and observations. Additionally, this qualitative study examines the outcomes of implementing an interdisciplinary journalism curriculum grounded in human rights and media activism, complemented by online sessions and an environmental education component. Background: Rhus toxicodendron (Rhus tox.) is a well-known homoeopathic medicine used to treat inflammatory disorders supported by historical and modern scientific evidence. Objective: The safety testing of 6C, 30C and 200C potencies of Rhus tox. through acute and sub-acute oral toxicity tests as per the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development test guidelines. The homoeopathic medicine Arsenicum album 30C was recommended as prophylaxis by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, along with general precautions during COVID-19 pandemic. A retrospective cohort study was conducted in Delhi, India, during May–August 2020 to evaluate the effectiveness of Arsenicum album 30C as prophylaxis for COVID-19 in a high-risk group of healthcare workers (HCWs). Introduction: Gallstones are formed due to the precipitation of components of bile in the lumen of the gallbladder. The incidence of gallstones is extremely rare in children and patients are mostly asymptomatic. However, biliary colic may occur due to reflexive smooth muscle spasm by the stone obstructing the bile duct and may be the presenting symptom in 50% of cases of paediatric cholelithiasis whereas 25% may have non-specific symptoms, 20% may be asymptomatic and 5–10% may have complicated symptoms. Individualised homoeopathic treatment could be a safe and affordable therapeutic option for venous ulcers. Case Summary: A 35-year-old male was treated with homoeopathic medication for an intractable case of chronic venous ulcer. Introduction: Chronic alcoholic pancreatitis with necrotising exacerbation and pseudocyst is a condition with a poor prognosis. The disease pathology, along with a history of trauma, and alcohol dependence, adds up to the severity making it more difficult to treat. The main surgical management is cyst drainage. Introduction: Tinea infection is a common complaint encountered in day-to-day practice with increasing incidence, especially in countries such as India over the past decade. Tinea capitis is predominantly a disease of prepubertal children characterised by lesions of variable morphology on the scalp associated with itching, erythema, signs of inflammation and hair loss. Prompt recognition and treatment are necessary to prevent its spread due to its contagious nature, associated hair loss and the resultant psychological impact on social life. The global COVID-19 pandemic brought attention to national public health perception and the detriments of medical misinformation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent to which susceptibility to common COVID-19 virus and vaccine misconceptions correlate with the high school students’ perception of public health. A survey was distributed to 61 high school students, and it was found that there is a weak negative correlation between acceptance of COVID-19 virus and vaccine misconceptions and national public health perception. The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy organised a scientific convention on World Homoeopathy Day on April 10th, 2023, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, to commemorate the 268th birth anniversary of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann. The conference’s theme was ‘Sarvajan Swasthya Homoeoparivar – One Health, One Family’. The convention’s aim was to come together in this profession as a Family/Parivar to collate the experiences of policymakers, researchers and practitioners to create a harmonious growth of Homoeopathy and to achieve the potential that Homoeopathy reaches each household of the country as the first line of treatment.
