Hdl: A Balanced Dataset For Hand-Drawn Digital Logic Gates, Ghassan F. Bati
Journal of King Abdulaziz University: Computing and Information Technology Sciences
Digital Logic Gates are fundamental components of digital circuits and systems, encompassing eight types: AND, OR, NOT (INVERTER), BUFFER, NAND, NOR, XOR, and XNOR. As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to advance, the demand for diverse datasets grows. This study introduces the Hand-drawn Digital Logic Gates (HDL) dataset, a novel and balanced collection of images representing these gates, accompanied by tabular data generated through deep learning techniques. The analysis of this dataset employs various machine learning models, utilizing no-code tools such as Orange Data Mining and Liner.ai. Additionally, state-of-the-art models from HuggingFace are incorporated to enhance the analysis. The significance of …

Through text/ images the author depicts chaos and challenges for the readers in more direct and obscene ways. The current paper attempts to look at Banerjee’s illustrations and images as new form of language emerged in modern Indian literature with the possibly that illustrations have more effect on …
The Role Of Algorithmic Design In The Development Of Responsive Facades, Ghada Ghalib Alnaimy, Younis Saleem
The Role Of Algorithmic Design In The Development Of Responsive Facades, Ghada Ghalib Alnaimy, Younis Saleem
Iraqi Journal of Architecture and Planning
In recent years, the use of algorithms in building façade design has significantly increased, enabling architects to create complex geometric forms that were traditionally difficult to achieve. Algorithmic design relies on employing algorithms to generate and process design parameters using digital tools such as 3D modelling and digital fabrication techniques. This approach enhances the performance of façades, allowing them to adapt to changing environmental conditions. The study addresses the need to understand the role of algorithms in creating contemporary architectural façades derived from nature and responsive both environmentally and aesthetically. The research aims to explore how these algorithms improve façade …

A Narrative Analysis Of Equity-Focused Cs Educators: A Multiple Case Illustration, Aleata Hubbard, Jen Tsan
Journal of Computer Science Integration
Background and Context. Equity-focused CS teaching is often prescribed as a solution for addressing disparities in K–12 CS participation and disengaging student experiences. However, adopting such an orientation can be challenging as it pushes educators to shift their teaching beliefs, identity, and practices. Objective. This study examines how the personal and professional experiences of four high school CS teachers influenced their paths to becoming equity-oriented practitioners. We illustrate variation in these developmental trajectories and advance theory building around equity-focused CS teacher identity development. Method. We utilized a multiple-case narrative inquiry approach, collecting data through in-depth, semi-structured interviews that included a …

A Proposed Model For Assessing The Impact Of Sustainable Practices On The Affordability Of Affordable Housing In Egypt Using Ahp, Ayman M Zakaria Eraqi, Omnia Nagy Abd El-Hafez, Amany Nagy Abd El-Hafez
HBRC Journal
Amid rising inflation and a housing crisis in Egypt, this research develops a model to assess the affordability of sustainable housing for low- and middle-income groups by integrating environmental, social, and economic sustainability criteria. The research methodology used Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the relative weights of sustainability criteria in housing projects. Based on their impact on construction costs, these criteria were classified by experts into five main groups: Design Criteria (preliminary studies, initial cost, environmental planning), Neighborhood Criteria (location, design, management), Social and Cultural Criteria (privacy and safety), Natural Resource Sustainability (water, energy), Housing Unit Criteria (design and …

Factors Affecting Students Persistence To Enrol In Stem Education, Nurul Yasmin Nor Huzir, Noraini Ahmad, Nor Aini Hassanuddin, Sarah Yusoff, Nur Syazana Rosly
Malaysian Journal of Computing (MJoC)
Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education is vital in producing a highly skilled and knowledgeable Malaysian workforce to meet the demand for its industries. Malaysia aims to be a developed country that initiates the technology itself instead of just being a user. Despite this ambitious goal, STEM education in Malaysia faces challenges due to low enrolment in STEM elective subjects. This declining trend is transparent in secondary school since students are given a choice to enrol in STEM education or any other stream provided. While STEM elective subjects are viewed as tough and difficult, there is a tendency that …

It further discusses the utilization of artificial intelligence methods and conversion of host media from the spatial domain to the frequency domain; these methods aim to improve the quality of watermarks. This paper also included a classification of the basic characteristics of the digital watermark and the …
Virtual Stardom: The Case For Protecting The Intellectual Property Rights Of Digital Celebrities As Software, Alexander Plansky
Virtual Stardom: The Case For Protecting The Intellectual Property Rights Of Digital Celebrities As Software, Alexander Plansky
University of Miami Business Law Review
For the past several decades, technology has allowed us to create digital human beings that both resemble actual celebrities (living or deceased) or entirely virtual personalities from scratch. In the near future, this technology is expected to become even more advanced and widespread to the point where there may be entirely virtual celebrities who are just as popular as their flesh-and-blood counterparts—if not more so. This raises intellectual property questions of how these near-future digital actors and musicians should be classified, and who will receive the proceeds from their performances and appearances. Since, in the near-term, these entities will probably …

"Pics Or It Didn't Happen" And "Show Me The Receipts": A Folk Evidentiary Rule, Timothy Lau
Vanderbilt Law Review
"Pics or It Didn't Happen," "Show Me the Receipts," and related refrains are frequently encountered in online discussion threads today. They are typically invoked to demand corroboration in support of a claim or to declare from the outset that a claim is supported by some sort of proof In many ways, they are the functional counterpart of legal evidentiary objections in online discussions. They embody a folk evidentiary rule, democratically and organically developed by the people.
The topic of "Pics or It Didn't Happen" is much broader than can be covered in a symposium piece. As such, this Article seeks …
