Background: Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are associated with increased length of hospital stay, permanent disability and even death. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess knowledge, attitude, practice (KAP), and barriers related to Pharmacovigilance (PV) among Pakistani healthcare workers (HCWs). Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in the second largest metropolitan city (Lahore) of Pakistan during a period of 4 months (JuneeSeptember 2018). Background: Although policies and guidelines may not always be optimal in all settings, a tailor-fitted guideline is appropriate. This study aims to determine the differences in the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of Saudi citizens toward Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Methods: A quantitative-comparative-correlational approach was carried out from March 21 to May 22, 2020. Descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and t-test were used to determine the differences in knowledge and demographic characteristics. Linear regression was used to determine relationships among KAP.

Background: Parents play an essential role in the prevention of home-related injuries among children. Traditionally, mothers provided direct overall care, whereas evidence on fathers' roles in children’s injuries is limited. This study assesses the differences between parents of children attending kindergarten regarding their knowledge and perception of home injuries and safety behaviors.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from January to April 2018 in 10 private kindergartens in the Selangor district in Malaysia. Introduction: Older adults aged 65 and over are vulnerable to functional decline during hospitalization and negative outcomes associated with immobility such as pressure injuries and falls. Studies reveal that nurses overlook patient mobilization due to competing priorities and a lack of comfort with patient mobilization. Hospital-associated functional decline can be mitigated through mobilization protocols. A 36-bed medical surgical unit in a South Florida hospital did not have a protocol for patient mobility.

The lactational amenorrhea method (LAM) is a natural contraceptive that is highly effective after the three essential criteria are fulfilled. However, there is a significantly low adoption resulting from poor knowledge and correct practices. This study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge and behavior of breastfeeding mothers on breastfeeding as a natural contraceptive. This was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design involving 89 breastfeeding mothers and was performed from January to March 2018. Antibiotic resistance poses a great threat to the public health at a global scale. This resistance has emerged due to the misuse and overuse of antibiotics, especially in countries where antibiotics are dispensed without a prescription. The aim of this study was to evaluate knowledge, behavior and practice towards antibiotics among medical students in universities. The study is a cross sectional survey using questionnaire. Data were collected from a random sample of 226 students of two faculties pharmacy and health sciences. Objective: Determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about organ donation and xenotransplantation in students of a National University of Lambayeque. Methods: The sampling carried out was probabilistic of a simple random type and the sample was made up of 100 university students. An observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted to assess levels of knowledge and attitudes about organ donation. A survey of 20 dichotomous key questions was applied. Objectives: To determine the association between the educational level and knowledge about the transmission of HIV in female adolescents according to the ENDES year 2019. Methods: Quantitative, observational, retrospective, cross-sectional and analytical study based on the public availability data of the ENDES 2019. College students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) face challenges due to limited understanding of this condition. This study investigates college students' awareness of and openness to peers with ASD using an educational intervention. Data were analyzed via a pre–post survey design with two groups.
Factorial analysis of variance showed no significant differences between groups. However, a Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed significant differences in the treatment group’s ranks on the openness scale and knowledge scale between pre- and post-intervention surveys. Findings yielded small (openness) and large effect sizes (knowledge) as expected. Brief educational interventions in required courses can thus potentially enhance …

Background: Increased malaria caseload is a public health threat to malaria elimination in Southern Thailand. Yala Province has the second highest malaria caseload in the country. Cross-border migration may be an underlying reason for the malaria outbreaks in Yala. It is a highly prevalent disease worldwide with approximately 915,000 individuals living with it in Ireland.
