Despite women comprising a substantial portion of the U.S. health care workforce, they continue to be underrepresented in leadership across health service organizations. Mentorship and professional networking opportunities are commonly used to support women’s professional growth; however, inequities in leadership attainment remain prevalent, particularly among women from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds. The problem that was addressed in this study is that research into early childhood leadership has focused on early childhood directors and programs for leadership, but little research has been conducted on early childhood teachers’ (ECTs’) perceptions of the ECT leadership. The purpose of this qualitative pragmatic inquiry was to explore how dynamic capabilities influence competitiveness and performance in U.S. telecommunications firms.
