This study examines the conditions of hopelessness in the city of San Bernardino. The purpose of this study was to examine the ways in which women and men's accessing of services for homelessness differ. This study employs a survey administered at an event given specifically for the homeless population in San Bernardino, and the differences between men and women and their access to support is documented.

The purpose of this study is to examine the variables that are associated with sexually exploited juvenile girls in Contra Costa County, and offer rehabilitative services to these girls while they are detained in juvenile hall. This study used quantitative secondary data analysis collected from Contra Costa County Probation Department from December 2012 to April 2013. The data were collected from a random question survey of Probation Officers within this Department.

The wraparound process is characterized by planning and problem solving, respect for values, culture, and expertise. This study provided a statistical analysis of reunifications rates and treatments offered for sexually abused children and their parents. This study consisted of computer case files in Riverside Child Protective Services of foster children who had been sexually abused and will help in further research studies conducted in Riverside County and in various surrounding counties to understand the impact of child sexual abuse. Data was collected from fifty case files using computer databases and a data extraction tool.

The purpose of this study is to explore the association between child sexual abuse and the effects on adult attachment style to romantic partners. Because the effects of abuse can be carried into adulthood, this study evaluates whether or not being sexually abused as a child has long lasting effects on attachment styles in adulthood. Sexual minority youth are coming out about their same-sex attractions earlier in recent years. Such youth and their families may experience a range of potential problems and concerns, suggesting that the child welfare system may need to do more to respond to the unique needs of this population. By employing a qualitative research design, this study, using face-to-face interviews with ten child welfare workers, examined child welfare agencies' ability to adequately render services to sexual minority youth and their families.
