A novel series of trinuclear coordination complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) was synthesized using a triazole-based ligand, namely 4-amino-5-((bis((4-amino-5-thioxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)methyl)amino)methyl)-2H-1,2,4-triazole-3(4H)-thione, (TAT3) in an alcoholic medium. The obtained complexes were investigated using a comprehensive set of physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques, including CHNS elemental analysis, Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, UV–visible spectroscopy, proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance (1H and 13C-NMR), mass spectrometry, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and molar conductivity. Structural and surface morphology assessments were further carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The spectroscopic and analytical data confirmed that …

A new Schiff–Mannich base ligand derived from 1,3,4-thiadiazole was synthesized via the reaction of 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole with sulfabenzamide and indoline in the presence of formaldehyde, yielding N–(4-((5-(2-oxoindolin-3-ylideneamino)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylthio)methylamino) phenyl thiolperoxy) benzamide (L). Six multivalent metal complexes were subsequently prepared with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Pd(II), Pt(IV), and Au(III) ions. This work aims at synthesizing chalcone derivatives using Acetophenone and benzaldehyde derivatives as the primary components. The chalcone compounds [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] have been produced through Claisen-Schmidt condensation reaction, which involves combining benzaldehyde derivatives (such as 4-bromobenzaldehyde, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 4-(dimethyl amino)benzaldehyde, and o-Nitro benzaldehyde) with acetophenone or its derivatives. This reaction takes place when an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and ethanol are combined at room temperature. The generated products were examined employing carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance 13C-NMR, proton nuclear magnetic resonance 1H-NMR, ultraviolet (UV), and infrared (IR) spectroscopic techniques. Each compound was tested to determine how …

The typical drug development approach is slow, costly, and fraught with failure - scientists examine millions of compounds, but only a few make it to preclinical or clinical testing. Machine learning (ML), a subset of AI, is a fast-expanding subject many pharmaceutical businesses increasingly utilize. Incorporating machine learning technologies into the drug development process can aid in automating repetitive data processing and analysis processes. ML techniques may be used at several stages of drug development, including drug property prediction, drug-target interaction (DTI) prediction, and De Novo drug design. 4-((2-hydroxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)diazenyl)-1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one was produced through the reaction of diazonium salt from 4-amino antipyrine with 2,4-dinitrophenol. This ligand is examined by (UV-Vis, FTIR,1H,13CNMR, and LC-Mass) spectral techniques and micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.O). Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) complexes were also performed and depicted. Metal chelates were distinguished by utilizing flame atomic absorption, infrared analysis, and elemental, visible, as well as ultraviolet spectroscopy, in addition to conductivity and magnetic quantification. Methods of mole ratio and continuous contrast have been studied to determine the nature of the compounds. Beer's law was followed throughout a condensation reach of about 1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M/L. A higher …

A new complex, CuCl2.2H2O (M), was synthesized to react with melatonin (L1) and one of the amino acids (L-cysteine, L2) in a mole ratio of (1:1:1) (M: L1:L2) to produce the metal complex. The synthesized complex was then characterized using spectral techniques including infrared (FT-IR), thermal analysis (TG), flame atomic absorption (AAS), micro elemental analysis (CHNS), melting point (m.p.) measurement, and determination of chloride. Octahedral geometry was proposed for the complex. The copper complex was paramagnetic and non-electrolyte. The synthesized complex was evaluated as an antibacterial and antifungal agent against Escherchia coli (G-) and Staphylococcus aureus (G+). fungus Candida. The …

This study examines the new synthesis of Pt (IV) and Au (III) Mannich base complexes derived from ciprofloxacin. The complexes were then used as precursors to prepare SiO2/PtO2 and SiO2/Au2O3 nanoparticles by depositing the synthesized complexes on porous silica nanoparticles. Elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-vis, molar conductivity measurements, and melting point were used to characterize this ligand and its metal complexes. Elemental analysis data show that the general formula of the metal complexes formed is [M(L)2Cl2] nCl.H2O, where L = Mannich base ligand and M = Au(III) and Pt(IV), and n = 1,2 respectively with octahedral structure. The chemical structure and …

In the field of molecular simulations, molecular docking is a method that can determine the optimal and preferred orientation of a certain molecule related to another when they are coupled to create a stable complex. The strength of the association, or binding affinity, between two molecules can be predicted using knowledge of their preferred orientation. In this study, a series of prepared compounds were evaluated for their binding modes, potential interactions, and target binding locations. Some derivatives 1,3-oxazepane, and 1,3-benzoxazepine were prepared from three Schiff bases compounds (1S-3S). The compounds (1S-3S) were reacted with succinic anhydride and phthalic anhydride to …
