This study of the contemporary Islamic legal system in Aceh, Indonesia argues for new attention to be paid to the ways in which contemporary Muslim agendas for the implementation of Islamic law can be read as projects for future oriented social transformation—rather than as a series of reactive measures to perceived ‘crises of modernity’ and/or the political machinations of rival elites in contesting control of state power. This research aims to find the psychological mechanism of students’ political participation. The research was designed with predictive correlational design and the data analysis technique was path analysis. The dependent variable was political participation intention. The predictor variables were creativity and students’ attitude toward economics. The mediator variables were the necessary political experience and political efficacy. One hundred and four students of Department of Psychology, FPPsi, Malang State University, participated (Mage = 19.50 years old; SDage = 2.397 years). Although there has been an increase in Performance Management (PM) literature over the years arguing that PM perceptions are likely to be a function of PM process components and contextual factors, the actual relationship between the contextual factors and employee satisfaction of PM remains little explored. Extending previous research, this study examines relationships between contextual factors and employees’ PM satisfaction. Derived from the literature, these contextual factors are motivation and empowerment of employees, role conflict, role ambiguity, perceived organisational support, procedural justice and distributive justice. This study was conducted primarily to measure the relationship between career program, career development and personal outcomes using self-administered questionnaires gathered from employees who have worked at a Sabah local government in Borneo. The outcomes of testing research hypothesis using a stepwise regression analysis showed two important findings: firstly, relationship between career program (i.e., planning and management) and career development positively and significantly correlated with job satisfaction. This article provides the results of an exploratory study that investigated the effect of Capability Lifecycle Path on attaining effective adaptation through innovation. Based on Miles and Snow (1978), an empirical study was conducted to explore whether performing firms are those that indicate consistency within the strategy, process, structure and Capability Lifecycle Path arrangement.
