Redefining Family Law: State Legislative Updates
This is the fifth annual Family Law Quarterly article discussing new state family laws that were enacted in the previous year. The article discusses 34 laws from 27 states, New York City, and the District of Columbia, grouped into the following categories: (1) Child Welfare, (2) Parents’ and Children’s Rights, (3) Parentage, (4) Child Custody and Visitation, (5) Financial Support, (6) Domestic Violence, and (7) Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
