Statistical tests are very important for researchers to make decisions. In particular, when the tests are non- parametric, they are of greater importance because they can be applied to a wide range of data sets regardless of knowing the distribution of these data. Researchers are therefore racing to obtain efficient tests for making good decisions based on the results of these tests. In this study, NBU (2)L was used based on the goodness of fit approach to present an efficient statistical test. The efficiency of the proposed test was computed, and the results were compared to those of other tests. …

Optimized Adaptive Frangi-Based Coronary Artery Segmentation Using Genetic Algorithm, Ahmed Hawas, Mohamed Elsayed Elsetiha, Heba El-Khobby, Amira Ashour
Journal of Engineering Research
Diseases of coronary artery are deliberated as one of the most common heart diseases leading to death worldwide. For early detection of such disease, the X-ray angiography is a benchmark imaging modality for diagnosing such illness. The acquired X-ray angiography images usually suffer from low quality and the presence of noise. Therefore, for developing a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system, vessel enhancement and segmentation play significant role. In this paper, an optimized adapter filter based on Frangi filter was proposed for superior segmentation of the angiography images using genetic algorithm (GA). The original angiography image is initially preprocessed to enhance its …
Extraction Of Blood Vessels Geometric Shape Features With Catheter Localization And Geodesic Distance Transform For Right Coronary Artery Detection., Ahmed Hawas
Journal of Engineering Research
X-ray angiography is considered the standard imaging sensory system for diagnosing coronary artery diseases. For automated, accurate diagnosis of such diseases, coronary vessels’ detection from the captured low quality and noisy angiography images is challenging. It is essential to detect the main branch of the coronary artery, to resolve such limitations along with the problems due to the sudden changes in the lumen diameter, and the abrupt changes in local artery direction. Accordingly, this paper solved these limitations by proposing a computer-aided detection system for the right coronary artery (RCA) extraction, where geometric shape features with catheter localization and geodesic …

Neutrosophic Adaptive Lsb And Deep Learning Hybrid Framework For Ecg Signal Classification, Abdallah Rezk, Ahmed S. Sakr, H. M. Abdulkader
Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
This paper proposes a novel hybrid framework for ECG signal classification and privacy preservation. The framework includes two phases: the first phase uses LSTM+CNN with attention gate for ECG classification, while the second phase utilizes adaptive least signal bit with neutrosophic for hiding important data during transmission. The proposed framework converts data into three sets of degrees (true, false, and intermediate) using neutrosophic and passes them to an embedding layer. In the sender part, the framework hides important data in ECG signal as true and false degrees, using the intermediate set as a shared dynamic key between sender and receiver. …

The single valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) was developed to handle uncertainty in information depending on independent states called truth, indeterminacy and false. Recently, the Turiyam set was introduced for dealing with the uncertainty in data sets when those states are in silent mode based on human quantum cognition or awareness. In this way, this set gives a way to explore the uncertainty in data sets beyond the existing true, false, and indeterminacy regions. The precise analysis of data with the Turiyam set and its graphical representation is indeed a requirement for knowledge processing tasks. To achieve this goal, the current …

Journal of Statistics Applications & Probability
Correlation coefficient and regression analysis are the most applied statistical approaches accessible in numerous disciplines due to its applicability and relevance. The neutrosophic sets found their place into recent research, whereas the world is full of indeterminacy. Kuhn-Tuckers necessary conditions are used to obtain the estimated parameters for non-linear regression models. This estimation procedure can use for any data set of non-linear regression models. We present, in this paper, the concepts of neutrosophic correlation and non-linear regression based on Kuhn-Tuckers necessary conditions. we provide some comparative studies between single-valued neutrosophic set and interval-valued neutrosophic set. Next, we apply scoring methods …

Ratio Of Coefficients Of Variation For Comparing The Dispersions Of Several Independent Populations, Abbas Bahrampour, Zeynab Avazzadeh, Mohamad Reza Mahmoudi
Journal of Statistics Applications & Probability
The coefficient of variation (CV) is an important and useful statistical tool for comparing several populations. In cases where there are multiple populations with different means and variances, the ratio of the coefficients of variation (CVs) is a good way to compare the dispersion of the populations. Because of the possible minor differences between multiple CVs and the lack of a robust interpretation, the ratio of CVs is more accurate than the difference of CVs. When a statistical analysis consists of some simultaneous statistical tests such as equality of several CVs, multiple testing is useful. As an example, the multiple …

Solving Bi-Level Multi-Objective Quadratic Programming Problem With Neutrosophic Parameters In Objective Functions And Constraints Using Fuzzy Approach, O. E. Emam, A. Abdo, A. M. Youssef
Journal of Statistics Applications & Probability
This paper aims to present the neutrosophic technique and fuzzy approach to determine the preferred compromise solution for bi-level multi-objective quadratic programming problem with neutrosophic parameters in both the objective functions and constraints. The introduced technique starts firstly to convert the neutrosophic parameters that exist in the objective functions to crisp numbers then convert the neutrosophic parameters that exist in the constraints to crisp numbers. After that, we applied the fuzzy approach to determine the optimal solution for our bi-level multi-objective quadratic programming problem (BLMOQP). Keywords:

Linear Fractional Programming Based On Trapezoidal Neutrosophic Numbers, A. M. Elhadidi, O. E. Emam, A. M. Abdelfadel, Mansour Lotayif
Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
In this paper, we introduce a new solution technique for resolving the neutrosophic linear fractional programming problem, where the objective function’s coefficients are neutrosophic trapezoidal-numbers. We convert the problem into a crisp multi-objective linear fractional programming. The transformed multi-objective linear fractional programming problem is reduced to a single-objective linear programming problem (LP) by using the proposed approach, which can be easily solved by suitable algorithm. A numerical example is given to verify the proposed method.

On Solutions Of Fully Fuzzy Linear Fractional Programming Problems Using Close Interval Approximation For Normalized Heptagonal Fuzzy Numbers, Majed G. Alharbi, Hamiden Abd El- Wahed Khalifa
Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
This paper attempts to solve the linear fractional programming problem with fully fuzzy normalized heptagonal fuzzy numbers using the close interval approximation of normalized heptagonal fuzzy number, which is one of the best interval approximations. The maximization (minimization) problem with interval objective function is converted into multi- objective based on order relations introduced by the decision makers’ preference between interval profits (costs). Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the proposed method.

An Inexact Rough Interval Of Normalized Heptagonal Fuzzy Numbers For Solving Vendor Selection Problem, Hamiden Abd El-Wahed Khalifa, Pavan Kumar, Bayoumi Ali Hassan
Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
Vendor selection problem is considered very complicated because a variety of unpredictable and uncontrollable factors affected the evaluation and decision making process. In this paper, a vendor selection problem (VSP) where the buyer allocates a quantity order for a commodity among a set of supplier to achieve the requirements of aggregate cost, service and lead time at the maximum equality is studied. One of the best inexact intervals, namely an inexact rough interval of normalized heptagonal fuzzy numbers is proposed. An inexact rough interval of normalized heptagonal fuzzy numbers for solving VSP without converting it into a deterministic (crisp) problem …

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences
The present paper investigates the neutrosophic linear programming (LP) models in line with their advantages, where their parameters are represented with a trapezoidal neutrosophic number, and a method to solve them has been introduced. With some mathematical examples, the introduced method has been represented and demonstrated its predominance with the state of the art by comparison. Finally, we conclude that the proposed approach is easier, more effective, and suitable for solving the neutrosophic LP models compared to other approaches.

Multi-level programming (MLP) is an important branch of operation research. The majority of optimization problems- humans currently face- have very large numbers of variables and constraints and are called large-scale programming problems. However, practical situations entail some imprecision regarding some decisions and performances. Neutrosophic sets play a vital role by considering three independent degrees, namely, the truth membership degree, indeterminacy membership degree, and falsity membership degree, of any aspect of an uncertain decision. The present study focuses on solving multi-level large-scale linear programming problems with neutrosophic parameters in the constrains by considering the problem coefficients to be trapezoidal neutrosophic numbers. …

The process of multi-criteria group decision making (MCGDM) is of determining the best choice among all of the probable alternatives. The problem of supplier selection on which decision maker has usually vague and imprecise knowledge is a typical example ofmulti criteria group decision-making problem. The conventional crisp techniques has notmuch effective for solvingMCDMproblems because of imprecise or fuzziness nature of the linguistic assessments. To find the exact values for MCGDM problems is both difficult and impossible in more cases in real world. So, it is more reasonable to consider the values of alternatives according to the criteria as single valued …

The release of rogons (rogue waves) associated with the electrostatic perturbations in dusty plasmas containing twotemperature ions is investigated. Solving the fluid equations using perturbation method, a nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation (NLSE) is derived for the electrostatic potential amplitude, associated with the propagation of envelope wavepackets. The solution of the NLSE is presented, which proposed as an effective tool for studying the rogons in different Saturn’s rings (i.e. E-ring, F-ring, and B-ring). Our analysis indicates that the plasma parameters of the E-ring cannot support the propagation of rogue waves, but the rogue waves may exist in B- and F-rings. The existence …
