The supply of drinking water in the Prizren region still represents a challenge for local and central governments. The water provided by these sources is often unsuitable and unsafe because it is treated with simple sand filters and with a small concentration of chlorination. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality and safety of drinking water in a school institution and a total of three samples were taken. Water quality is an important tool to protect public health. The samples were subjected to laboratory analysis evaluating the physics-chemical parameters. And they were analyzed in the water testing …

In Kosovo, milk production represents one of the main economic activities from agriculture for thousands of households. Recently, a disturbing practice that is damaging the quality of this vital product has been observed, namely the adulteration of milk by adding water to it, a practice used by some unscrupulous producers. This irresponsible practice not only damages the milk industry and producers, but also has an effect in the reduction of milk quality, especially in the chemical parameters of protein, fat and in the physical parameters of its density. In addition, the presence of adulterated milk in the consumer market undermines …

Wired Women: Understanding And Reaching The 18-24 Year Old Women Of Today, Jessica David
Wired Women: Understanding And Reaching The 18-24 Year Old Women Of Today, Jessica David
Renée Crown University Honors Thesis Projects - All
Wired Women represent a segment of the larger millennial generation that has not previously been looked at as a singular target. Previous generational spans of 15-20 have until now successfully identified people of similar tastes, behavior and experience. The increased rate of technological discovery and innovation that has taken place over the past 25 years has caused a generational divide within millennials. It is necessary that this group of 18-24 year old women be examined separately from older millennial women as well as their same-aged male cohorts.
18-24 year old women represent an opportunity for advertisers to reach a group …

Medical, Social And Legal Implications Of Treating Nausea And Vomiting Of Pregnancy, Robert L. Brent
The Selected Works of Robert Brent
This article will deal with medical, social, and legal implications of treating nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP). Clinical problems occur when the symptoms become exaggerated and result in debilitation, dehydration, and hospitalization. The treatment of NVP in its early stages has the implication that it will prevent the more serious complications, including hospitalization. Therapeutic modalities discussed in this conference that have been used or are being tested are primarily symptomatic treatments (antihistamines, Bendectin (Merrell Dow; Cincinatti, Ohio), phenothiazines, hyponosis, accupressure, relaxation behavioral modification, audiogenic feedback training, newer medications, diet, and nutritional support). Bendectin is probably the most studied medication …
