The objective of this study was to examine how Joint Ventures (JVs) understand HD, identify existing capacity gaps, and explore opportunities for HD integration across two JVs in the Midwest. Linking Local Ecological Knowledge And Management Perspectives On Oyster Predation In Mississippi And Alabama, Cynthia Lupton, Eric Sparks, Mark Woodrey, James M. Drymon, Nigel Temple, Steven Scyphers

Research Data

Eastern oysters (Crassostrea virginica) provide critical ecosystem services, yet populations along the northern Gulf Coast are declining due to environmental stressors, such as water quality issues and predation. To evaluate how threats to oysters are perceived across stakeholder groups, we surveyed oyster Farmers and Resource professionals in Mississippi and Alabama about predator impacts, seasonal patterns, and mitigation strategies. Survey responses (n = 21) were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Fisher’s Exact tests, Mann–Whitney U tests, and t-tests. Farmers and Resource professionals identified multiple predators as important sources of mortality, but their relative rankings differed across groups. The data in this file support the findings of the following study.

Purpose: Wanting to implement a sustainable learner coaching program in academic medicine and prior exposure to coaching initiatives raised questions including planning, implementation and assessment, and resource allocation. This scoping review examines coaching across medical learners, reported program elements, success factors, and barriers.

Methods: Following PRISMA-ScR guidelines, informed by Levac et al. on Arskey and O’Malley’s framework and Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis, PubMed, Scopus, and ERIC was searched through May 2024. Background: With the increasing cost of textbooks and new generations of technology savvy students, universities and textbook publishers are promoting e-Textbooks as a more accessible and affordable alternative. Studies comparing adoption, preference, and learning effectiveness of print books and e-Textbooks provide conflicting results.
