The paper discusses the current state and perspectives for the development of various sectors of the Blue Economy in the Russian sector of the Black Sea. This analysis is based on the research done in the framework of the EU DOORS (Developing Optimal and Open Research Support for the Black Sea) research project (2021-2024), reports by the World Bank and the European Commission, as well as scientific literature of the Russian and international researchers. Blue economy is an emerging concept in all over the world where Bangladesh is not in exception. The blue economy of Bangladesh is subject to multiple interlinked activities. Among the major activities, food production, shipping and trade, tourism, ecosystem-biodiversity, new technologies and climate change challenges are the most promising sectors which are discussed in this chapter to project the present and future potential, constrains, ways to overcome in the context of the blue economy of Bangladesh following various published literatures.
