The present study's focus is to analyze the top 100 cited papers (classic papers) in the field of physics education in the last thirty years. The study is aimed to provide insight into the citation pattern, authorship pattern, year, journals, countries of these classic papers with the help of bibliometric analysis. The data for the study was extracted from the Scopus database. The study indicated that among these top 100 papers maximum were in the form of research articles. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The records as indexed in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in MEDLINE data covered in PubMed for the period 2010-2019 considered. It is observed that a total of 49613 records are in the MEDLINE data covered by Pubmed. It is found that the maximum number of 8098 records was published in the year 2019. This study aims to analyze and visualize the contribution of Indian researchers in “genetic counseling”. PubMed and JGate databases were used as sources to retrieve the required data for six years, which was published between 2015-2020 (February). The data were assessed on the following parameters, growth of research publications authorship and publication patterns frequently used keywords. The study also identifies core journals and active institutions in India publishing genetic counseling research. This paper aims to analyze a bibliometric study mapping of research output on Medical Waste Management (MWM). All articles relevant to MWM research have been retrieved using the Web of Science (WOS) database. Bibliometric analysis for co-citation, linking, scientific collaboration analysis, co-word analysis and visualizing bibliometric networks were used by many important bibliometric tools, such as Biblioshiny, ScientoPy and VOSviewer. The major aim of this study is to evaluate the research productivity of Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PJPS) from 2005 to 2020. For the purpose, bibliometric analysis was performed.

Methodology:

From March to April 2021, the data was retrieved from Scopus, one of the largest databases in the world. journal. Later it was analyzed by MS Excel. Based on the Scopus database, this is the 1st bibliometric report about PJPS.

Researchers support their research work by citing previous studies. Citations are considered important indicator of research performance and many research based indicators are based on these. Self-citation, i.e., citing own previous studies, is a common practice but excessive and unsolicited self-citations are unethical and not considered good. The present paper intends to study the self-citations of “DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology” in terms of author-self citation, journal self-citation and author-journal self-citation during the ten year period from 2010 to 2019. The study also covers authorship pattern, collaboration and prolific authors in the journal under study.
